New Photovoltaic Grant for Andalusia – “Plan Ecoviviendas”.
Good news for Andalusia, the Ministry of Public Works has launched the new Ecoviviendas Plan, which consists of grants for photovoltaic installations. Pero, ¿En que consiste este Plan?
The Ecoviviendas Programme, backed by the Andalusian Regional Government, has a budget of 614 million euros and its main objective is the revitalisation of residential buildings. This scheme focuses on improving the energy efficiency of dwellings, offering subsidies covering up to 40% of the total cost of installation, with a reimbursement ceiling of €3,000.
This Scheme is applicable as long as the integral intervention in the dwelling meets specific percentages in terms of traditional non-renewable energy consumption and/or annual energy use for heating and cooling in the dwelling.
What are the benefits of this plan?
As mentioned above, the Programme for the improving energy efficiency in housing offers a subsidy of up to 40% and the maximum amount to be received is 3.000 euros, and the following will be required in order to obtain it 30% reduction in traditional energy consumption.
Requirements and steps to apply for subsidies under the Ecoviviendas Plan
This assistance may be applied for by private owners of residential buildings or by communities of owners located within the Autonomous Community of Andalusia.
Groups of homeowners’ associations and cooperative societies may also apply.

You can apply for and manage the grants of the Sustainable Residential Programme through the official website of the Junta de Andalucía. To do so, it is necessary to complete three forms available on the same platform and to have the required documentation, which includes, among other documents:
- Execution of Pre and Post Certificate
- Certificate of census registration
- Title deed of the house
- DNI/NIF
Application deadline
The deadline for applying for subsidies for housing rehabilitation under the Ecovivienda Programme has been extended and will end on 26 December 2024 inclusive. Time is passing quickly, don’t let this opportunity pass you by!
